Senior Advisor at Brian Communications

Bill Marimow serves as a Senior Advisor. A two-time Pulitzer Prize recipient, Bill was editor-in-chief of The Philadelphia Inquirer until 2017. Prior, he was editor-in-chief of The Baltimore Sun and the vice president of news for National Public Radio (NPR).

As a reporter at The Philadelphia Inquirer, he received Pulitzer Prizes for stories written with a partner on criminal violence by Philadelphia police, and again, for his investigation of the police K-9 unit. In his career, Bill also received two Silver Gavel Awards from the American Bar Association and two Robert F. Kennedy awards – the first for his work as reporter at The Philadelphia Inquirer, and the second for his work at NPR.

After leaving his role as editor-in-chief, he served as vice president of strategic development of The Philadelphia Inquirer.
