Jay Dee Nielsen

Jay Dee Nielsen has extensive experience in recreation and winter sports instruction, currently serving at Brian Head Resort in the Winter Sports School since October 2018. Prior roles include Director and Assistant Director at Evanston Parks and Recreation District from October 2014 to June 2018, and Ski Instructor at Sundance Mountain Resort in late 2013. Additionally, voluntary contributions as a Coach for the Special Olympics from 2003 to February 2014 included coaching at the National Games in 2006, 2010, and 2014. Jay Dee Nielsen also held the position of Recreation Manager for Pleasant Grove City from 2003 to 2013 and served as Training Director for Special Olympics Utah from 2000 to 2003. Education includes a degree in Recreation Management & Youth Leadership from Brigham Young University.
