Julia Metro is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in institutional giving, development, and communications within the nonprofit sector. Currently serving as the Director of Institutional Giving at BRIC since October 2022, Julia previously held roles including Director of Development & Communications at Socrates Sculpture Park and Associate Director of Development at the National Organization on Disability. Julia’s impactful contributions at Brooklyn Community Foundation include expanding the donor advised fund program and enhancing operational efficiency through streamlined processes. With a foundation in arts and culture, Julia's early career includes significant roles at Materials for the Arts and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Julia earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from New York University.
