John Sturrock is a distinguished legal professional with a robust background in mediation and advocacy. As the Founder, Chief Executive, and Senior Mediator at Core Solutions Group since January 2000, John has established Scotland's leading mediation service, emphasizing high-level training and facilitation. Additionally, John serves as a Mediator at Brick Court Chambers, part of an internationally recognized group of mediators. From September 2016 to September 2019, John contributed as a Visiting Professor in the School of Social and Political Science at the University of Edinburgh, focusing on the Academy of Government. A former Advocate and Queen's Counsel at the Faculty of Advocates, John directed an award-winning advocacy skills training program at the Scottish Bar prior to 2002. Academic credentials include an LLB Hons (First Class) from The University of Edinburgh and an LLM in International Law from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School.
