The MGA is led by Juan Calvache who has more than 25 years of experience in the underwriting Property Facultative Reinsurance industry. Juan has a Masters degree in Insurance and Risk Management from North Texas University and his entire career has been focused on the Latam & Caribbean Regions.

Prior to setting up Brickell Underwriting Agency, Juan had extensive experience leading facultative underwriting teams for top-rated Reinsurers and establishing new Latam operations for a Lloyd’s Syndicate.
