Alex Fuentes, BASc, MBA, has a diverse work experience in various industries. Alex is currently the EVP of Strategic Growth & Business Development at Brickeye, a Construction Technology and Insurtech solutions company. There, they focus on reducing risk and protecting margins through technology-driven risk mitigation on construction projects. Prior to this, Alex founded Streets Ahead Consulting, a Canadian advisory firm offering industry insight and expertise in clean tech and renewable energy sectors. Additionally, they served as Vice President at Bell Lap Ventures, managing M&A and financing activities while advising on strategy and growth. Alex has also held leadership roles at Hydrostor, Solar Provider Group LLC, Bullfrog Power Inc., and Apotex. Alex'sexpertise extends to business development, marketing, and strategic accounts. Alex began their career as a Mechanical Engineer at Atlantis Systems International and Honeywell.

Alex Fuentes holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, which they achieved between the years 1995 and 2000. Alex then pursued further education at the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management, where they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Strategy & Marketing from 2004 to 2006. Additionally, Alex obtained a Spanish Language Diploma from Escuela Internacional in Salamanca, Spain in the year 2000.
