Femi Awofala is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in infrastructure investments and finance. As the Founder and Director of The African Catalyst since May 2020, Femi Awofala focuses on platform engagement and facilitating infrastructure investments in Africa through research and knowledge-based initiatives. Femi Awofala also serves as the CEO and Founder of Brickstone Africa, an Infrastructure Accelerator that provides advisory services to ensure the bankability of large-scale asset-backed projects. Additionally, Femi Awofala is a Venture Investor at Seedworks Limited, which builds and invests in internet companies in underserved African markets. Prior experience includes roles as Vice President of Advisory & Investments at Travant Capital Partners and Team Lead for Advisory & Capital Markets at Vetiva Capital Management Limited, among others. Femi Awofala holds an MBA in Business Administration from Lagos Business School, an Individual Professional Course in Law & Finance from SOAS University of London, and a B.Sc in Geology from the University of Ibadan.
