Prior to this role, Mary operated as a freelance editor, writer, and consultant for notable companies and publications, including Cosmetic Executive Women and The Knot, from November 2009 to June 2011. Mary held significant positions at Conde Nast as Beauty Director for both Elegant Bride and Modern Bride from June 1998 to October 2009, and contributed as an editor at various other publications, such as Index magazine and Redbook. With a strong editorial background, Mary began their career in beauty as Beauty Editor and Creative Director at Sassy magazine from 1987 to 1994. Mary holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography from the Rhode Island School of Design.
