Yuri Cherniavskyi is an experienced senior VAT associate and customs advisory specialist at Briddge Legal & Finance since February 2021, focusing on providing exceptional VAT advice and managing a team of VAT associates while maintaining relationships with clients and authorities. Previously, Yuri held roles as a tax associate at TIP Trailer Services and a corporate legal assistant in M&A, providing strategic insights and managing various legal and financial processes. Early legal experience includes serving as a legal assistant at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and a research assistant at The Hague University of Applied Sciences. Academic qualifications include a Master of Laws in International and European Tax Law from Maastricht University and a Bachelor's degree in International and European Law from The Hague University, complemented by an Erasmus program at Northumbria University in International Business, Trade, and Tax Law.

From business associates to business partners. In 2011 attorney-at-law Marc Dunnewijk and accountant Theo De Groot joined forces and established Briddge Legal & Finance B.V. The letters D-D-G in the name mark the cooperation as the letters stand for Dunnewijk and De Groot. During the past years Theo De Groot has stepped down and his sons Stefan and Jurren have taken his place within the company. Briddge has proved to be a success from the moment of the merge of the two strong and experienced companies ‘Dunnewijk’ and ‘Gread & Partners’.
