Karaline Smith

Karaline Smith is an experienced educator with a focus on elementary education, currently serving as a Kindergarten Teacher at Bridge Boston Charter School since August 2020. Karaline has a diverse teaching background, which includes roles as a Grade 3 Teacher at Asociación Colegio Granadino-Villamaria and as a Grade One Teacher at The American School of Tangier, where cultural immersion played a significant role in teaching. Previous positions also include Lead Preschool Teacher at Acton Montessori School, where a Montessori approach fostered student independence and confidence. Karaline further contributed as a Summer Program Manager and Administrative Assistant at Acton Montessori School. Academic qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of Connecticut, an IB/M Elementary Education degree from NEAG School of Education, and a Master's in Educational Leadership and Administration from Western Carolina University. Additionally, Karaline was a NCAA Division 1 student-athlete in women's lacrosse at the University of Connecticut.
