Megan Malaker serves as the Dean of Coaching and Intervention at Bridge Boston Charter School since August 2023, after previously holding the position of 8th Grade English Language Arts Lead Teacher from August 2018 to June 2023. Megan's experience includes supervising English Language Arts teachers, designing curriculum, mentoring teaching fellows, and leading professional development initiatives. With a Master of Education in Moderate Special Education from Boston College and a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of Michigan, Megan has built a comprehensive career in education, beginning with roles such as Teaching Fellow, Special Needs Assistant, and Student Teacher.

Bridge Boston Charter School
Bridge Boston is a public charter school that opened in the fall of 2011 serving children in Roxbury and the surrounding community – many of whom have experienced emotional, social, and developmental barriers to learning. In the 2019-2020 school year we will reach maturity with 335 students in pre-Kindergarten through grade 8. We believe the most effective way to lift children out of poverty is by equipping them with an excellent education. With a longer school day and school year, we are able to provide academic rigor, a commitment to nurture the whole child, and a breadth of full-service programming to remove obstacles to knowledge acquisition.
