Alex J. Woodward

Alex co-founded Bridge City Capital, LLC in 2008. As president and co-founder, Alex is responsible for oversight of the firm including the firm’s finances, operations and long-term planning. He is also a portfolio manager and research analyst focusing on technology, health care and consumer discretionary companies. Alex has been in the investment industry since 1998 and focused on the small cap asset class since 2001.

Prior to co-founding Bridge City Capital, Alex spent 7 years as a research analyst on the buyside focused on the Technology Sector. Prior to that, Alex was a sellside research analyst focused on the semiconductor capital equipment industry.

Alex received a B.S. degree from Linfield College and an MBA degree from Portland State University.

He enjoys watching his boys participate in sports and coaching basketball and soccer teams. Alex likes to play golf when time allows.
