Ami St. Laurent, BSN, RN, PHN has a diverse work experience in the healthcare field. Ami started as a Nursing Student at Stanford Health Care, where they completed 90 clinical hours on the locked, in-patient psychiatric unit. Ami then gained experience as a Nursing Student at Seton Medical Center, completing 180 clinical hours in the Medical Surgical, Telemetry, and OR units. During this time, they focused on developing time management skills and improving clinical skills.

After that, Ami worked as a Nursing Student at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland, completing 90 clinical hours in Labor and Delivery and Pediatrics. Here, they assisted with patient care during labor, performed newborn and postpartum assessments, administered medications, documented, and provided patient education.

In 2018, Ami joined Kaiser Permanente as a Nursing Student. Following their student roles, they worked as a Travel RN/Corrections at Lompoc Federal Bureau of Prisons and as a Street Health Medicine Nurse at Bay Area Community Health.
