Chris S.

Chris S. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Chris'smost recent position was as the VP of Engineering at Bridge Money, where they started in August 2020. Before that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Ascent from July 2019 to May 2020. Prior to Ascent, they held a Software Engineer role at Rally Health from December 2018 to June 2019. Chris also served as the Senior Software Engineer/CTO at Conmitto from June 2018 to October 2018.

Before their roles in the software industry, Chris worked at Avant as a Senior Software Engineer from July 2017 to June 2018, and as a Software Engineer from December 2015 to July 2017. Chris also gained experience as a Software Engineer at 2Checkout from May 2015 to November 2015, where they focused on client-facing API development and developer onboarding.

Prior to their software engineering roles, Chris held a position as IT Supervisor-in-Training at Continental Message Solution from May 2013 to February 2015. Here, they were responsible for training, QA, and overseeing the workticket system. Chris also gained experience in server administration, SQL, telephony, and hardware installation.

Chris's earlier experiences include founding and being the president of the Korea-America Student Conference Alumni Network from March 2010 to October 2011. Chris also worked as a Head Teacher at Global English Education Academy from May 2012 to April 2013, overseeing operations, curriculum design, event planning, and managing other teachers.

Chris S. completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Linguistics and Korean Language and Literature from The Ohio State University. This degree was obtained between the years 2006 and 2010. In 2014, Chris attended Dev Bootcamp for Web Development, although no degree was awarded during this period.
