Samir Bolar

Samir Bolar is an accomplished educational leader and strategist with extensive experience in program development and operational management within various organizations. Currently serving as the Chief Program Officer at Bridge to Enter Advanced Mathematics (BEAM), Bolar focuses on creating opportunities for students from low-income and historically marginalized communities in STEM fields. Previous roles include Chief Operating Officer at FITGMR, where Samir led initiatives to enhance esports player development, and Executive Director of Training Grounds at Cloud9 Esports, where Samir established a youth esports academy. Bolar also held significant positions at Teach For America as Vice President and Chief Program Officer, and co-founded Mastery Design Collaborative, delivering personalized learning solutions. With an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, and dual degrees in Chemical Engineering and Plan II Honors from The University of Texas at Austin, Bolar combines technical expertise with a passion for educational equity.
