Sule Kivanc-Ancieta

Vice President at Bridge to Turkiye Fund

Sule Kivanc-Ancieta has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Sule is currently serving as the Vice President at Bridge to Turkiye Fund (BTF), where they are responsible for managing program portfolios, engaging donor communities, and advocating for BTF social causes. In this role, they have designed and implemented various educational projects and programs, including Math4Kids, Science4Kids, Music4Kids, Sports4Kids, Gift4Kids, and ScienceLabs4Schools. Sule has also expanded the organization's programs to include new initiatives such as Laptops4Students, Tablets4Kids, and Gifts4Kids during the COVID pandemic.

Before joining BTF, Sule held various positions at the Oak Park & River Forest High School. As a Senior Off-Campus Teacher, they provided homebound instruction to qualifying students in mathematics and science subjects. Sule worked closely with various stakeholders to deliver quality support services and ensure the students' best interests were prioritized.

Sule also has experience as a math tutor in the Oak Park/River Forest community. Sule built a successful tutoring practice, delivering personalized tutoring services to middle and high school students with varying academic needs.

Prior to their teaching and tutoring roles, Sule worked as the Head of Science Department at Aykan High School and as a Physics Teacher at Evrensel Middle and High School. Sule also served as an Engineering Assistant at OYS LTD.

In addition to their roles in education, Sule served as the Founder and Director of BTF Chicago, where they shaped the vision and provided strategic leadership for the organization. Sule established the "Cinema4Cause" program, raising awareness on gender and education inequality in rural Turkey through relevant filmmaking.

Throughout their career, Sule has demonstrated leadership and a commitment to education and social causes.

Sule Kivanc-Ancieta completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Physics at Middle East Technical University in 1993.
