I-Mei Liao

I-Mei Liao, PhD, currently serves as Vice President at BridgeCare Technologies, where the focus is on providing AI-powered mental health and medical care services for international students. Formerly, I-Mei was a Senior Director at UT Southwestern Medical Center and played key roles as a postdoctoral researcher and peer advocate in the Student Wellness Center. I-Mei earned a PhD in Neuroscience from UT Southwestern Medical Center and has extensive experience in research and advocacy, including organizing career seminars as an organizer for the Alliance of Women Scientists and serving as an international student representative. Additional contributions include mentoring at Blackstone LaunchPad, facilitating equity initiatives at Founders First CDC, and participating in various fellowships and research projects focusing on diversity and inclusion in venture capital.
