Electrical PCBA Design Engineer at BridgeComm

Scott Hill has worked in the electrical engineering field since 2012. Scott began their career as an Undergraduate Researcher at the Center for Advanced Power Systems at Florida State University, where they created simulations of PV systems and inverters using MATLAB/Simulink and PSIM. Scott then worked as a Technical Consultant at Mac Business Systems, where they utilized diagnostic programs and troubleshooting steps to determine the cause of clients' computer issues. In 2016, they moved to G5 Engineering Solutions, where they were originally hired to assist in the redesign and update of older circuit boards for a large customer. Scott was then given the charge to lead the design projects for this customer. In 2019, they joined Duos Technologies, Inc. as an Electrical Engineer, where they were a key member of the engineering and operations division and tasked with acquiring a broad understanding of all aspects of the rail-based systems being deployed and developed. In 2020, they moved to Redwire Space as an Electrical Engineer. Currently, they are working as an Electrical PCBA Design Engineer at BridgeComm, Inc. since 2022.

Scott Hill attended Tallahassee Community College from 2007 to 2009, graduating with an Associate of Arts (A.A.) in General Studies. Scott then attended Florida State University from 2009 to 2012, graduating with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In June 2016, they obtained an Engineering Intern certification from the Florida Board of Professional Engineers.
