Asa Carré-Burritt has a diverse work experience. In 2022, they began working as the Business Development Director at Bridger Photonics, Inc. From 2018 to 2022, they worked as a Researcher at the Colorado School of Mines, leading an NSF-funded project advancing environmental contaminant destruction. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a PV System Designer at EMPOWERED ENERGY SYSTEMS LLC, designing residential and commercial solar electrical systems and renovating the proposal building tool. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Lead Solar PV Installer at Namasté Solar. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Graduate Researcher at Cornell University. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as a Researcher (UGS & GRA) at Los Alamos National Laboratory. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Research Assistant at Fort Lewis College, synthesizing novel bidentate phosphine ligands and preparing Ni and Pt coordination complexes, synthesizing tetra-cationic iodonium macrocycles, and applying NMR spectroscopy towards the investigation of an alternate pathway for the aldolase-mediated step of glycolysis in Acidobacterium capsulatum.
Asa Carré-Burritt has an extensive education history. From 2009 to 2013, they attended Fort Lewis College and earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Chemistry. Asa then attended Cornell University from 2014 to 2016, studying Chemistry. From 2018 to 2022, they are currently attending the Colorado School of Mines to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Chemistry. Additionally, Asa has obtained several certifications, including Data Science Methodology, Data Science Orientation, Tools for Data Science, Machine Learning Foundations: A Case Study Approach, NABCEP Solar PV Installation Professional, and Wilderness First Responder.
