Adam Balfour

Adam Balfour serves as the Vice President and General Counsel for Corporate Compliance and Data Privacy at Bridgestone Americas since January 2014. With extensive experience in corporate compliance, Balfour has significantly transformed Bridgestone's ethics and compliance framework, overseeing various initiatives such as the integration of a data privacy program and the development of the Global Anti-Bribery Policy. Prior roles include Vice President for Corporate Compliance and Latin America, where Balfour led compliance teams across multiple countries, managed substantial legal budgets, and achieved notable savings. Balfour holds an LL.M from Harvard Law School and a law degree from the University of Dundee, and is currently a Board Member for the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics. Previous legal experience includes positions at Kirkland & Ellis and Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP.
