Christine Karbowiak

Christine Karbowiak is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in risk management, sustainability, and corporate relations. Currently serving as the retired Vice Chair, Chief Administrative Officer, Chief Risk Officer, and Executive Vice President at Bridgestone Americas since January 2021, Christine oversaw critical departments including communications, environmental management, and internal audit, while also chairing the Board Audit Committee. Prior to this role, Christine held significant positions at Bridgestone Corporation from 2011 to January 2021 as G-Chief Sustainability Officer and Executive Vice President, and has a long history with Bridgestone and Bridgestone/Firestone, where various leadership roles were held from 1992 onwards. Christine began a legal career at G.D. Searle Company and Quinn, Jacobs & Barry, after earning a Juris Doctor and a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
