Lars Bettermann is an experienced procurement leader currently serving as Chief Procurement Officer for Bridgestone Americas & EMEA since February 2025, and for Bridgestone EMIA since January 2021. Prior to these roles, Lars held the position of Head of Procurement Strategy at BuyIn from November 2018 to December 2020 and served as a College Lecturer on Procurement Strategy at Universität zu Köln from September 2017 to October 2018. Lars’s career also includes a significant tenure at Accenture as Managing Director/Partner from January 2007 to June 2018, and a brief period as Chief Procurement Officer at The Adecco Group in 2016-2017. Earlier experience includes a role in procurement at Ford Motor Company from April 2002 to December 2006. Lars holds a Diplom Kaufmann in Wirtschaftswissenschaften from Universität Siegen (1995-1999) and attended Christian Brother High School in Memphis for the academic year 1991-1992.
