Gordon Darling has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Gordon most recently worked as a Customer Success Manager at BridgeU starting in December 2021. Prior to that, they were employed at The Student Room Group from 2016 to 2021. During their time there, they held positions such as Business Development and Account Manager, where they focused on engaging with specialist higher education providers and further education colleges. Gordon utilized digital marketing tools, student/youth marketing knowledge, and data insights to create tailored campaigns and reach relevant students during the application cycle. Additionally, they served as a Sales and Account Executive, assisting further and higher education providers in increasing awareness and engagement with students through targeted solutions.
Before joining The Student Room Group, Gordon worked as a part-time Telemarketing Agent at Qualifa from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they held the role of Marketing Assistant and Telesales Executive at Computer-Eyez from December 2014 to March 2015. Gordon started their career at Falconbury Ltd in 2010 as a Training Advisor/Account Manager. In this role, they marketed and sold legal training solutions to new customers, developed products based on insights from industry professionals, and focused on retention and growth of existing client base and key accounts.
