Dr. Kennedy has served his local community as a dentist and educator for more than 30 years. He has proudly worked in the family practice, Kennedy Dental Office, since 1985 after completing his studies at West Virginia University. At WVU School of Dentistry, he has served as a dentistry educator since 1986 in various roles including Clinical Instructor, Clinical Assistant Professor and his current role as Adjunct Professor. He has made other contributions to his community and the world of dentistry, including working as General Dentist Representative of the Anesthesia Committee, and volunteers with the Pathway to Health, providing dentistry to underserved populations.
Dr. Kennedy holds a Doctorate of Dental Surgery and a General Practice Residency at Charleston Area Medical Center (CAMC) with a focus on Hospital Dentistry and Advanced General Dentistry from WVU. He proudly mentors senior dental students from WVU in his private practice, integrating higher education with the private sector.
