Irma Valverde

Irma Valverde has extensive experience in management and communications, currently serving as Manager of Culture & Communications at Bridgewater Associates since July 2018. Prior roles at the firm include Manager of Culture & Talent and Program Manager for Talent, among others. Previously, Irma held significant leadership positions at the University of Connecticut, including Student Body President, where responsibilities involved advocacy for over 19,000 undergraduate students. Through various internships and committee roles, such as Business Management Intern at GEICO and Vice President of the Undergraduate Student Body, Irma developed skills in operations, event coordination, and community engagement. Irma earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Connecticut in 2018.
