Gwen Jones

Gwen Jones serves as the Director of Teacher Education and Assistant Professor at Bridgewater College since August 2017, following a tenure as Professor of Education at Fairmont State University from August 2003 to April 2017, where responsibilities included teaching courses in instructional design, assessment, and action research, advising student majors, and supporting students with entrance to teacher education exams. Prior to this, Gwen Jones had a significant educational role at St. Francis Central Catholic School in Morgantown, WV, from September 1991 to June 2003. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Education in Curriculum and Instruction and Educational Administration from West Virginia University, a Master of Arts in Special Education and Teaching from the University of Connecticut, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Eastern Connecticut State University.
