Michael Ziarnowski Ed.D. serves as a Police Sergeant at the Bridgewater Police Department since July 2009, with extensive experience in criminal investigations, community safety, and training new officers. In addition to law enforcement roles, Michael has held leadership positions with Bridgewater PBA Local 174, including SOA President, Vice President, and Treasurer, focusing on community relations, collective bargaining, and financial management. Michael is an Advisory Board Member for Transformative Leadership in Disruptive Times at Seton Hall and has contributed to academia as a guest lecturer at Rutgers University and an adjunct professor at Warren County Community College. A former New Jersey State certified football official, Michael's educational background includes a Doctor of Education from the University of New England, a Master's in Criminal Justice from Rutgers University - Camden, and a Bachelor's in Political Science and Criminal Justice from Rutgers University.
