Allyson McVickar

Allyson McVickar, Ph.D., serves as the Assistant Director of Graduate Student Services at Bridgewater State University since November 2021, after previously holding the role of Assistant Director of International Programs at the University of Massachusetts Lowell from June 2019 to November 2021. Additionally, Allyson coordinated international student programs at UMass Lowell International Student & Scholars Office from July 2014 to November 2021, overseeing various orientations and events while managing a team of student ambassadors. Earlier experience includes a graduate internship in Student Affairs at The Boston Conservatory, and roles in management and administration at Tech Superpowers, Aflac, CVS Caremark Corporation, and Fitchburg State University. Allyson earned a Ph.D. in Leadership in Education from UMass Lowell and holds a Master's Degree in Higher Education Administration from Northeastern University, alongside a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from Fitchburg State University and London Metropolitan University.
