Colleen Kelly Poplin

Colleen Kelly Poplin is an accomplished filmmaker and sound artist currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Film & Video Arts Production at Bridgewater State University, where responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses in film and video production, documentary production, and screenwriting. With extensive experience in academia, Poplin previously held multiple positions at Emerson College, including Associate Director of Academic Advising and Affiliated Faculty in Visual and Media Arts. Poplin's filmmaking work spans various roles such as directing, producing, and cinematography, focusing on documentary, experimental nonfiction, and sound art. Educational achievements include a Master of Fine Arts and a Master of Arts from Emerson College and a Bachelor of Science from The University of Texas at Austin.
