Yolany Gonell

Yolany Gonell is currently the Assistant Vice President of Student Success Equity and Diversity at Bridgewater State University, focusing on leading diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to enhance campus climate and support equity-minded action plans. Previously, Yolany held roles including Director of Student Diversity & Inclusion at William Paterson University of New Jersey, Director of Student Life at the New York Institute of Technology, and Director for Residential Life & Campus Activities at Colorado College. Earlier experience includes positions at Stetson University, Western Carolina University, SUNY Geneseo, and Alfred State, with a strong focus on intercultural initiatives and student engagement. Yolany holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and two Master's degrees in Social Work from the University at Buffalo.
