Darja Nelson

Darja Nelson is a highly experienced professional in the fields of commercialization, biotechnology, and strategic development. Currently serving as the Commercialization Manager at Bridgewest Ventures NZ, this role involves leading efforts in the deep tech incubator focused on early-stage biotech and high-tech companies. Additionally, Darja holds directorships at Zealafoam Holdings Limited and Project DORIS, while previously contributing to OnBoard NZ and Marama Labs as a Board Observer. With a strong background at The New Zealand Institute for Plant and Food Research Limited as a Senior Commercialisation Manager and various roles in intellectual property management, Darja has a robust academic foundation, holding multiple degrees in Biomedical Science and Bioscience Enterprise from The University of Auckland.
