Bridging Barriers
Nikita J. is currently an AspireSheffield Ambassador at The University of Sheffield, where studies are focused on a Bachelor of Laws - LLB degree. In addition to this role, Nikita is a mentee at Bridging Barriers and has recently volunteered as a student at RMC: THE REFUGEE AND MIGRANT CENTRE. Previous experience includes a legal internship at Liddy’s Solicitors Ltd and participation in the STEP into Civil Service Work Experience Programme at the Ministry of Justice UK. Nikita has also served as the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Lead for The Lawyer Network CIC and held multiple legal intern positions, along with prior experience as a dental nurse at BROOMHILL DENTAL PRACTICE LIMITED and Scott Arms Dental Practice & Implant Centre. Education backgrounds include a City and Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing from Performance Through People and studies at Birmingham Metropolitan College.

Bridging Barriers
Bridging Barriers is social mobility charity supporting young people aged 16-25 to achieve career success through mentoring, virtual masterclasses and networking events. With mentoring at the forefront of what we do, we give young people access to professionals who empower them with the soft and hard skills needed to thrive. Our virtual masterclasses and networking events complement the mentoring, allowing young people to build employment networks to strengthen access to opportunities.
