Abdurauf Younes

Abdurauf Younes is a Product Engineer at Bridgnorth Aluminium Ltd since September 2022, focusing on the technical aspects of various aluminium product types. Previously, Abdurauf served as a PhD researcher at Northumbria University from February 2018 to September 2022, concentrating on the development of cost-effective Shape Memory Alloys (SMA) to replace expensive NiTi in engineering applications. Abdurauf's early career included a role as a Warehouse Operative at Alliance Healthcare from September 2017 to January 2018, where responsibilities included accurate order picking and packing. Abdurauf holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northumbria University, as well as a Foundation degree in Engineering from the same institution.
