Gil Melnik

Gil Melnik is an accomplished algorithm developer at BriefCam since March 2021, where expertise in Statistical Learning and Graph Theory Algorithms has led to the creation of innovative video analysis capabilities and successful leadership of a multi-disciplinary team in a customer-facing Proof of Concept project. Previously, Melnik worked as a teaching assistant at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from March 2018 to February 2021, instructing undergraduate students in computer science subjects and developing a Python tool to automate the homework grading process. An early career as a combat intelligence officer was completed in the Israeli Military Intelligence from March 2010 to June 2014. Gil Melnik holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, both from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
