Lutz Andersohn

Lutz Andersohn serves as Chief Technologist at Scinomix since December 2016, while also holding the position of VP R&D and Operations / Software Engineering at Brien Holden Vision Diagnostics since April 2015, leading R&D and operations for advanced medical devices in the neurological field. Previously, Lutz was President of Pitcairn Engineering from August 2010 to November 2016, overseeing project management and engineering services, and developed software for the printing industry. At Adventus Technology, Inc. from November 2011 to April 2015, Lutz directed product development programs in the ophthalmic field. Earlier experience includes roles at Bausch & Lomb, Nellcor - Tyco Healthcare, KLA-Tencor, and TopoMetrix / ThermoMicroscopes, where responsibilities encompassed surgical equipment development, pulse oximetry product development, and semiconductor inspection equipment. Lutz holds a PhD in Physics specializing in Surface Science from Leibniz Universität Hannover.
