Jeremy Askew

Jeremy Askew has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Jeremy is currently the Group Finance Director at Briggs & Forrester Group since November 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Interim Head of Accounting (Customers) at Drax Group from June 2019 to November 2020. Jeremy also worked as the Interim Group Financial Controller at Envigo ++++ from September 2017 to June 2019.

Before their roles at Envigo +++, Jeremy held positions at Barratt Developments plc as the Head of Group Accounting from July 2015 to September 2017, and as the Head of Accounting from October 2014 to June 2015. Jeremy has also worked at Travis Perkins plc as the Group Chief Accountant from August 2005 to October 2014.

Earlier in their career, Jeremy worked at Christian Salvesen plc as a Senior Group Planning Accountant from December 2003 to August 2005, and as the Group Accounting Manager from March 2002 to December 2003. Jeremy also gained experience at Bostrom plc (KAB Seating) as the Group Finance Manager from June 2000 to March 2002, Finance Manager from June 1999 to June 2000, and as a Management Accountant from September 1995 to June 1999.

Jeremy began their career as a Trainee Accountant at Robert Horne Group from September 1988 to June 1992, and then served as a Management Accountant from June 1992 to September 1995.

Jeremy Askew completed their Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the ACCA from the year 1988 to 1994. Later on, they pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration with a specialization in MBA from the University of Leicester, which they completed between 1996 and 1999.
