Neil Wright has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Neil started their career in 1992 at Moorgate House PLC, where they worked as a Junior Administrator before transitioning to roles such as Administrator, Trainee Financial Advisor, and Trainee Business Analyst. In 2000, they joined the EDS Group as a 1st Line Support Analyst, later moving up to the positions of Judicial 2nd Line Support Analyst and Judicial 2nd Line Support Team Leader. In 2008, Wright joined the Kier Group as a Remote Infrastructure Support Analyst, eventually taking on the roles of 3rd Line Support Analyst and Service Delivery Analyst. Since 2014, they have been working at Briggs & Forrester Group as the Group IT Operations Manager.

Neil Wright attended Sir Frank Markham from 1987 to 1992, where they earned a GCSE in English, English Literature, English Language, Maths, Geography, and a Science Dual Award. In addition to their formal education, Neil also holds certifications including an ITIL V3 Foundation Certificate and MCP certifications in Installing, Configuring and Administering Microsoft Windows, as well as Managing and Maintaining a Windows Server Environment, obtained from Microsoft.
