Jeff Mealer

Jeff Mealer is a seasoned State and Local Tax Manager with extensive experience in tax compliance, advising, and planning. Currently employed at Briggs & Veselka Co. since June 2018, Jeff previously held similar roles at RSM US LLP and BKD CPAs & Advisors, where responsibilities included client interaction, technical research, and supervision of tax preparation for multi-state clients across diverse industries. Jeff's professional background is further enhanced by experiences at Grant Thornton LLP, Price Waterhouse Coopers, and BDO Seidman, LLP, focusing on income and franchise tax issues. Jeff holds a JD from Texas Tech University School of Law and master's and bachelor's degrees in accounting from Texas State University and the University of Houston-Victoria, respectively.
