Kiran Sachdev

Kiran Sachdev has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Starting in 1997, Kiran worked as a Summer Research Student at Spar Aerospace Limited, where they developed a stereo imaging system for generating 3D images. After that, Kiran had various roles as a Summer Student at McGill University and as a Researcher/Programmer at the Ontario Science Centre.

In 2005, Kiran created an interactive web presentation to explain Einstein's Special Theory of Relativity. They also founded, owned, and operated a theatre and music venue called Bread & Circus from 2008 to 2010, where they managed employees and designed web-based systems.

From 1998 to 2013, Kiran worked as a Freelance Software Developer, developing software applications for desktop, web, and mobile platforms using various technologies. In 2014, they joined Riva Modeling Systems as a Researcher and later became the Head of Research, focusing on algorithm development, data visualization, and user experience.

From 2016 to 2018, Kiran worked as the Lead Product Architect at PowerPlan, Inc., managing the migration of an enterprise application and building a computation engine that improved efficiency.

Currently, Kiran is working as the CTO at Bright, starting in November 2018. They have a strong background in software development, research, and creating innovative solutions.

Kiran Sachdev completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science from the University of Toronto from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, Kiran earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Joint Honours in Math and Physics from McGill University, where they studied from 1995 to 2000.
