Evan Tabor has extensive work experience in the field of engineering and software application development. Evan currently works as a Senior Software Application Engineer at Bright Machines since November 2019. Prior to this, Evan worked as a SCADA Engineer at High Point Resources from November 2017 to November 2019, where they developed and installed large-scale control systems for the upstream oil and gas industry.
Before joining High Point Resources, Evan worked as an Automation Engineer II at Champion Technology Services from January 2015 to November 2017. Evan also gained valuable experience as an Electrical Engineering Intern at Cabot Microelectronics from May 2014 to August 2014, where they worked on projects involving PLC migrations and wastewater treatment upgrades.
Earlier in their career, Evan served as an Electrical Engineering Co-Op at Regal Beloit from May 2013 to December 2013, focusing on projects related to Allen Bradley PLCs and HMI screens. Evan also worked as a Personal Electronics Repair Technician at CPR - Cell Phone Repair from May 2012 to May 2013, specializing in repairing cell phones, game systems, and computers.
Additionally, Evan held positions at SMC Packaging Group, where they served as an Assistant Supervisor/Lift Operator from May 2011 to August 2011, responsible for facility layout and inventory management, and as a Design Lab Intern from May 2010 to August 2010, where they handled sample orders and designed promotional items.
Evan Tabor completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer and Electrical Engineering at the Missouri University of Science and Technology from 2008 to 2014. During the same period, they also obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Engineering from Missouri S&T.
