Susan Manwaring

Susan Manwaring has worked in a variety of roles since 1980. From 1980-1996, they were a Flautist and Flute Teacher/Coach. From 1987-1992, they were the Fiscal Director for Horizon House, Inc in Philadelphia, PA. From 1992-1996, they were the Manager of Government Contracts for the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children. From 1996-1999, they were not employed, but instead focused on care-giving and professional studies. From 1999-2003, they were the Zone Manager/Comptroller for CCC Information Services, Inc. During this time they were responsible for the design, development, and set up of office staff and procedures for the Zone Office. From 2003-2008, they were not employed and instead focused on their recovery period as they were legally blind. From 2008-2011, they were the Regulatory Affairs Director for Speyer Door and Window, Inc. From 2011-2016, they held various roles at Bright Mountain. Finally, from 2016-2019, they were the Controller at Bright Mountain Media, Inc.

Susan Manwaring's education history includes a BBA in Business Administration- Accounting major from The Wharton School, which they completed from 1978 to 1983. Prior to that, they attended Mansfield University of Pennsylvania from 1972 to 1975, studying Music Education. Susan also holds a Certificate in Religious Studies from the Diocese of SE FL Diocesan School for Christian Studies, and has studied Braille and Chess at the Hadley School for the Blind. In addition, they hold a 0215: Life, Health, and Annuities Insurance Agent License from the Florida Department of Financial Services, obtained in June 2013, as well as a Notary Public from the State of Florida.
