Steve Baker has a diverse work experience in the field of finance and technology. Steve served as the Chief Financial Officer at Mercator MedSystems, Inc. from 2014. Steve also held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Bright Pattern starting in 2021. Steve worked as an Advisor and Chairman of the Product Advisory Council at Agylytyx (formerly Funding Profiles) from 2012. Steve was also the CFO & Advisor at Peerless Analytics from 2013 to 2018. Steve served as a Venture Advisory Board member at i-GATE Innovation Hub from 2014 to 2017. Steve worked as an Executive in Residence at Plug and Play Tech Center from 2012 to 2017. Additionally, Steve held the role of Partner at Tatum, a Randstad Company from 2013 to 2015. Steve served as the Interim Chief Financial Officer at WaferGen in 2014 and Daegis in 2013. Lastly, Steve was a Board Director & Treasurer at Valley Children's Museum from 2011 to 2013.

Steve Baker completed their education with a BA degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Pennsylvania, from 1975 to 1979. After that, they pursued their MBA degree in Finance & Accounting from Columbia Business School, from 1979 to 1981. Additionally, in October 1994, they obtained the certification of Certified Management Accountant from the institution called Certified Management Accountant: CMA®.
