Grégory Upert has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2004 when they were a PhD student at the University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis. In 2008, they moved to the University of Basel, where they were a Research Assistant and a Postdoc with Prof. Dr. Helma Wennemers. In 2012, they became an Ingénieur-Chercheur at CEA - Commissariat à l'énergie atomique et aux énergies alternatives. From 2015 to 2021, they were employed at Polyphor Ltd, where they held the roles of Head of Chemistry, Head of Protein Epitope Mimetics (PEM) Chemistry, and Group Leader in Peptide Medicinal Chemistry. Grégory currently holds the position of Director of Peptide and Protein Chemistry at Bright Peak Therapeutics.
Grégory Upert obtained their PhD in Chemistry from the University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis in France from 2004 to 2007. Prior to that, they obtained their Maîtrise et Diplôme d'Etudes Approfondies (Master) in Molecular Chemistry from Université Côte d'Azur from 2002 to 2004. Grégory also obtained their Licence de Chimie in Chimie physique from Université Côte d'Azur from 1998 to 2002.
