Steve Bright

Steve Bright has a diverse and extensive work experience. Steve started their career in Burlington Industries as a Plant Industrial Engineer from 1971 to 1975. Steve then worked at Rubbermaid Commercial Products, first as an Industrial Engineer from 1975 to 1981, and later as a Manager of Information Systems from 1978 to 1983. Subsequently, they joined Rubbermaid Home Products as the Manager of Information Systems from 1983 to 1984, and later as the Manager of Purchasing from 1984 to 1987. In 1988, they founded Bright Plastics, where they served as the President until September 2013. From September 2013 to present, they have been the CEO of Bright Plastics. Additionally, Steve Bright has also held the role of Director at Industries of the Blind, Greensboro from 2005 to 2010 and at Carolina Bank since 2009.

Steve Bright completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research at Virginia Tech from 1966 to 1971. Following this, they pursued higher education and obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from Virginia Tech's Pamplin College of Business, attending from 1978 to 1982.
