Alex Philip has had a diverse range of work experiences. In 2021, Alex worked as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Ettinger Engineering Associates during the months of June to September. They also joined ASHRAE as a Technical Committee Member from June 2021 to April 2022. In November 2021, Alex began working at ProCon Engineering Inc. as a Mechanical Engineer, primarily focusing on GEPC project reviews, load and energy calculations for schools under MDCPS, and AT&T buildings. Their responsibilities also included drafting using AutoCAD Lt and sizing chillers, cooling towers, pumps, pipes, and ducts. In 2022, Alex moved on to work as a Project Engineer at Netgains Engineering P.C for a year, starting in March 2022 and ending in February 2023. Currently, Alex is an Energy Engineer at Bright Power, Inc., starting in February 2023.
Alex Philip completed their education in Mechanical Engineering. From 2014 to 2018, they attended Sree Narayana Guru College of Engineering, Kadayirippu, where they obtained a B Tech degree. Afterwards, they pursued a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from New York University from 2019 to 2021. In addition to their formal education, Alex Philip also obtained certifications such as Autodesk AutoCAD Certified User from Certiport - A Pearson VUE Business in June 2021 and OSHA 30 Hour General Industry Outreach from 360training in June 2021.
