Dmitry Ostrikov

Dmitry Ostrikov has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of software development. Dmitry started their career as a Junior Software Developer at the All Russian Institute for Scientific and Technical Information of the Russian Academy of Sciences in 1996. Following this, Dmitry worked as a Middle Software Developer at Vested Development Inc. (VDI), where they focused on application design and development for outsourced projects from document management software vendors such as PC DOCS International and Hummingbird. During their time at VDI, Dmitry also served as a Senior Software Developer, working on application development and integration for Fellowes company projects.

In 2004, Dmitry joined Renaissance Capital as a Senior Software Development Engineer, responsible for the development and maintenance of the Front Office part of the proprietary trading system. Dmitry played a key role in developing server-side core modules, implementing GUI application screens, and creating test engines for functional testing and Continuous Integration. Dmitry eventually became the Lead Software Development Engineer at Renaissance Capital, leading improvement projects on the Front Office part of the trading system and managing a small team of engineers.

In 2013, Dmitry transitioned to JAVAD GNSS as a Senior Software Engineer. Dmitry developed a GNSS raw data post-processing service for precise land surveying and built storage and event streaming using technologies like MS SQL, MSMQ, and RabbitMQ. Dmitry's responsibilities also included implementing OAuth 1 and working with Windows, .NET 4.7, Angular JS, and AWS (EC2). Dmitry was later promoted to the position of Lead Software Engineer, where they continued to contribute to the company's software development projects.

Most recently, Dmitry joined Bright as a Back End Developer in 2022.

Dmitry Ostrikov completed their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Moscow State Mining University (МГГУ) between 1991 and 1996. Dmitry also holds additional certifications, including the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS), obtained in January 2022, and the Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) from Microsoft, obtained in 2001.
