Jaime Hernandez has extensive work experience in the field of Information Technology (IT). Jaime started their career as a System Administrator at Los Angeles County in 2002 and worked there until 2005. Jaime then joined Bright Star Schools as an IT Manager from 2003 to 2009. Following this, they worked as the Information Technology Director at Da Vinci Schools from 2009 to 2015, where they focused on K-12 grade level Charter Schools in the Non-Profit sector. In 2015, they returned to Bright Star Schools and held the position of IT Director until 2018, when they were promoted to the role of VP of IT, which they currently hold. In addition to their IT expertise, Jaime also has experience as the owner of The Hair Studio from 2014 to 2019.
Jaime Hernandez started their education in 2001 at California State University, Los Angeles, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Information Systems in 2005. Afterward, from 2005 to 2007, they attended UCLA to complete a Certification Program in Project Management Professional. In 2009, Jaime enrolled at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo for an Engineering Management Degree in the Engineering Management Program, which they completed in 2011. Additionally, they returned to California State University, Los Angeles in 2004 and attained a second Bachelor of Science (BS) degree, this time in Marketing, which they finished in 2005.
