Mitchell Stern

Mitchell Stern is a Social Studies Teacher at Bright Star Schools since August 2021, responsible for planning engaging lessons for diverse learners in both baseline and advanced placement courses while fostering an inclusive classroom culture. Previous experience includes roles as a Student Teacher in Pleasanton Unified School District, where lessons were delivered in both online and physical classrooms, and as a Substitute Teacher across various grade levels, focusing on classroom management and student rapport. Earlier internships include Visitor Services Intern at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, where visitor management and program administration were key tasks, and Canvasser for Catharine Baker's State Assembly campaign, engaging in voter outreach efforts. Mitchell Stern holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of California, Irvine, earned in 2019.
