Vladimir Duran

Vladimir Duran is an experienced mathematics educator currently serving as a Mathematics Teacher at Bright Star Schools since September 2021. Previously, Vladimir held the position of Mathematics Instructor at STAR Prep Academy from August 2017 to June 2021, where responsibilities included leading the Math Department and instructing upper division math, encompassing courses from Algebra 1 to AP Calculus. Additionally, Vladimir has teaching experience at Mirman School (2014-2016) and Maybeck High School (2007-2013). A graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, Vladimir earned a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics between 2002 and 2005 and is proficient in virtual classroom environments and Apple educational software.
