Brittany U. Carter, DHSc, MPH has a diverse work experience spanning various healthcare and research organizations. Brittany U. is currently the Director of Clinical Affairs at Bright Uro since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Wellsource from 2018 to 2022, serving as the Director of Health and Research. At 11 Health in 2022, Brittany held the position of Director of Clinical Affairs, where they played a crucial role in supporting the clinical research strategy for a smart ostomy appliance, including creating workflows and SOPs, as well as utilizing evidence-based approaches to guide product development and patient health education. From 2010 to 2018, they worked at Kaiser Permanente as an Evidence Services Consultant in the Care Management Institute and as a Senior Research Associate at the Center for Health Research. During their time at Kaiser Permanente, they conducted systematic reviews for various health organizations, including the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force. Prior to that, Brittany worked as a Research Associate at Oregon Health and Science University from 2008 to 2011, conducting systematic reviews and leading original research on conflicts of interest. Brittany U. also has experience as an Administrative Coordinator at Howard Hughes Medical Institute from 2007 to 2010, where they managed administrative tasks for biomedical research laboratories. Additionally, they worked as a Research Assistant at Portland Veteran's Affairs Research Foundation in 2006 and as a Student Project Manager at OHSU | Oregon Health & Science University from 2005 to 2006. Before transitioning into the healthcare field, Brittany gained management experience as a Store Manager at Blockbuster from 2003 to 2005.

Still University of Health Sciences from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they earned their Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Health Management and Policy from Portland State University, graduating from 2008 to 2010.

Brittany also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology & Psychology, which they completed at Portland State University from 2003 to 2007.
